Selling donated household furniture, small and large appliances, and electronics back into our community, for the good of the community.

Rebound was established by the Hub to provide a convenient drop-off centre for items too large for recycling at the Hub.  The first store was opened in November 2004, with the assistance of an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant.  Volunteers were recruited, and Rebound was in business.  Since its inception, Rebound has diverted more than 600,000 pounds (300 tonnes) from the landfill, while providing an attractive and practical furniture store.  Rebound also promotes the use of recycling by offering OES  Electronics Recycling, blue box sales, canvas shopping bags, and compost bins on behalf of the  Town of Mississippi Mills.

Rebound is able to accept and resell large items in good condition.  These items include:

  • Large Toys
  • Musical Instruments
